SBIR/STTR Workshop With Jim Greenwood - 8/21-22 - Sheridan, Wyoming
8:00 AM
WTBC Conference Room - 1981 Double Eagle Drive, Sheridan
We are bringing in a nationally recognized expert, Jim Greenwood to lead the workshops. Jim Greenwood has taught SBIR/STTR workshops in 48 states plus Puerto Rico and Washington D.C., offering training through local and regional economic development groups, universities, Federal laboratories, SBDCs and MEPs. He has taught at many of the National SBIR Conferences in the past decade, including the most recent national conferences in New Orleans, Portland, Washington DC and Austin.

Day 1

This session begins with a comprehensive overview of the SBIR and STTR programs, including differentiation between the two programs and significant changes that are occurring as a result of recent re-authorization. It then continues into an extended discussion of a simple but effective four-step process for developing a Phase I proposal to any of the participating SBIR/STTR agencies, and concludes with a brief view of sample Phase I proposals.

Day 2

This session delves into the perplexing world of government accounting, and the all-important SBIR/STTR cost proposal. This workshop focuses on development of an indirect rate (aka overhead, fringe, F&A, G&A) for your company, and then how to apply that rate to an accurate and defensible cost proposal as part of your Phase I or II SBIR/STTR proposals. IF you don't learn this stuff, and try to wing it, you will make mistakes and you will lose money.

Register for Day 2 at http://www.wyomingsbdc.org/find-training/events/wyoming-entrepreneur-classes/sbir-cost-accounting-day-2/?eID=1914

There is no registration fee for the workshop but we ask that you preregister so we have enough materials for all attendees. The event will be held at the WTBC office at 1981 Double Eagle Drive, Sheridan Wyoming.

It is no-cost for Wyoming residents, but $125 for out-of-state attendees.

If you have any question, give me a call. We'd love to have you at the event.

Best,

Kelly
