Tourism is now Montana’s largest industry. A seminal event igniting tourism in Montana and fly fishing in general was the making of the movie “A River Runs Through It”. Fresh off the 25th anniversary of the film’s release, come hear acclaimed actor Tom Skerritt discuss his experiences on making the movie and its lasting impact. And how fly fishing continues to be a driving force on Montana tourism.

We’ll also get an update on the influence of tourism/recreation on Montana’s economy from Rachel VandeVoort, head of the newly created Montana Office of Outdoor Recreation. And we’ll hear from the CEO of the Joshua Green Corporation (owner of Sage rods, Redington Reels and Rio flyline) regarding the company’s activity in Montana and its continued commitment to the world’s “last best place.”
