First Call Computer Solutions Takes School’s Message to the Web

Summit Preparatory School is a non-profit, college preparatory therapeutic boarding School located near Kalispell that is dedicated to providing a safe and effective solution for teens in crisis. The School is made up of some of the nation’s foremost experts in child development. Nestled away in the mountains just south of Kalispell, the campus is most impressive at first glance. But what sets the School apart is its people, processes and approaches to helping troubled teens.

The School opened its doors in March of 2003 and needed to make interested parties aware of their offerings. In addition, a key objective was to educate other Schools and parents about Summit’s academic and therapeutic philosophy and programs. To help achieve their goals, the organization hired First Call Computer Solutions http://www.firstsolution.com/ to help communicate their message through a new website. http://www.summitprepschool.org

Eric Nelson, a Summit Preparatory School educator and the School’s project lead on the website stated “We needed a high-end website that would allow us to manage the content and deliver the right message to other Schools, parents and industry professionals. First Call gave us the tools to do that.”

Conor Smith, President of First Call Computer Solutions, said “What mattered most to the School was using the web as an extension of what they do day in and day out, which is to educate.” “I am so pleased with the final product because the website achieves their goals visually and provides interesting content in a well organized and attractive format.”

In conjunction with its aesthetic and educational value, First Call Computer Solutions built the entire site with function in mind. “It was a real challenge because the site needed to deliver to many different audiences” said Kate Trimble, First Call’s project coordinator. “We were able to work with the School and our programmers to get the right mix and provide tools so they could manage much of the website themselves.”

Conor Smith summed it up by saying “This project was fun and it’s nice to work with a group of people that are passionate about what they do. It’s a good feeling knowing that more people will learn about Summit and that in turn will help a lot of kids who are having a tough time.”
