Ag Technology Show Announces Ag Inventor Finalists

Seven Ag Inventor Finalists, from a
total of 41 applicants in the Ag Technology Show
Inventor’s Contest, have been selected by the Jury
Selection Committee. The finalists will compete for
the grand prize, the $1,000 Top Inventor Award, at the
Ag Technology Show in Billings, Montana January 8 –
10, 2004.

The Seven Ag Inventor Finalists are as follows;

1. Joe H. Miller, Manhattan, MT – Weed Whacker

2. Patrick Fordyce, Hilger, MT – Fence Post Anchor

3. Fred E. Davison, Highwood, MT – Gate Winch

4. Edmond A. Cook, Lusk, WY – Vertical, Horizontal
Swing Gate Panel

5. Kent Granmoe, Glendive, MT – Hydraulic Pressure
Relief Tool

6. Randall J. DeBuff, Harlowton, MT – Fence Cleaner

7. Bill Schrage & Dan Rowe, Thermopolis, WY –
Livestock Mixer/Feeder

The Ag Technology Show, a regional farm & ranch
tradeshow will be at the Holiday Inn Trade Center in
Billings, January 8 – 10, 2004. The tradeshow will
open daily at 10:00 am and close at 6:00 pm. Attendees
will be able to view the new Ag innovations all three
days of the tradeshow and will be able to vote for
their favorite inventor for the People’s Choice Award.
A panel of Judges will chose one winner for the $1,000
Top Inventor Award. The contest winners will be
announced by Ruth Bond, representative for U.S.
Congressman Denny Rehberg at the Awards Ceremony on
Saturday, January 10, 2004 at 4:00 pm.
