STEM contest that has given thousands to rural Montana schools reopens

Today, other local schools can enter the 2018-2019 contest https://www.samsung.com/us/solvefortomorrow/ for a chance to win part of the $2 million prize.

This year, Samsung will donate to the first 3,500 teachers who simply submit an entry, thanks to a new partnership with http://www.DonorsChoose.org, the nation’s largest crowdfunding site for teachers and public-school classrooms.

Does your classroom have a bright idea?

Thanks to a national contest, teachers and students in grades 6-12 can turn their bright ideas into cash.

Last year, Lewistown Middle School was named state winner in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Contest for their work developing an emergency relief app that allows users to communicate in real-time via text message to ensure those in need receive help during emergencies.
