What it means to be well-connected: exploring the economic impact of Bozeman’s growing airport
September 30, 2018 /
Every day, about 1,600 people on average take their shoes off, bumble through security and board a plane to fly up above the Bridgers and out of Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport.
After doing the math, that means well over half a million people flew out of Bozeman last year, coming out to 600,361 in 2017, to be exact. And airport director Brian Sprenger said the number of people who fly in is roughly the same, making Bozeman’s airport one of the fastest growing in the country, let alone the state.
