Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Geographic Data Services Bureau is looking for a high energy, creative, flexible, patient, problem-solver who is willing to work at a dynamic pace. You must be enthusiastic, ambitious, and enjoy working in a team environment. You must be analytical, detail oriented, possess a strong work ethic, have a positive attitude and excellent people skills. Candidates must share a commitment to FWP's Vision and Mission. This position requires that you work independently on multiple priorities, with diverse groups of people, and that you work well in a team environment with excellent time management skills to ensure deadlines are met. You must have prior experience developing automation scripts and tools, technical expertise in obtaining, manipulating, and organizing spatial data as well as defining, planning, and implementing analysis and processes. This position requires that you have knowledge and experience in the biological sciences with proven ability to apply technical and GIS solutions to meet the requirements of a broad range of FWP staff. You must have demonstrated ability to work in and coordinate diverse, cross-functional teams toward project completion, effectively communicate concepts related to fisheries and wildlife science as well as geographic information systems, data, and database concepts.
