Throttling: The intentional slowing of an internet service by an internet service provider.
In a word, that’s what net neutrality rules were supposed to prevent. Now that the Federal Communications Commission abolished net neutrality, internet users are at the mercy of their ISPs and the FCC cannot prevent throttling.
