Houston-based cybersecurity firm Identity Automation has acquired Idaho-based health care tech company HealthCast Inc.

The value of the deal was under $10 million and was Identity Automation’s second acquisition in just under two years, James Litton, CEO and co-founder of Identity Automation, told the Houston Business Journal.

"HealthCast has done an excellent job of building a reputation in the health care industry for providing very robust security solutions," said Litton. "Identity Automation, with our rapid identity product, really is able to come in and extend the capabilities quite significantly to help these health care organizations ensure that they’re as secure as they need to be."
