Idaho’s Solar Roadways proud to be semi-finalist in energy contest.

The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

An American start-up is in the top 25 of companies in the running to win Postcode Lottery Green Challenge. Solar Roadways has developed an ambitious plan to turn the countries roads into energy with its specially designed solar panels, which can also power the vehicles driving on them.

We are so excited to have been chosen as a semi-finalist and are hoping to be chosen to be a finalist to present in Amsterdam in September:
