Scholarships Gave Anthro Alum His Start, and Now He’s Paying It Forward
Not long ago, as I stood in the lobby of the Skaggs Building, I couldn’t help but feel excited and proud about UM’s future. Reed Humphrey, dean of the College of Health Professions and Biomedical Sciences, was announcing a $1 million gift to support the UM Health and Medicine program.
The room was packed. There were students, donors, faculty, Foundation trustees and media representatives present. Each was there to share in this important moment. You can read more about this special gift and its important impact in the story featured in this issue.
UM is a place where people care deeply about their work, the success of students and the health of our region. That passion will help drive UM forward into its next 125 years, as we all come together to think big about the institution’s future. Thank you for being a key part of our next chapter.
Sincerely,
Sincerely,
Cindy Williams
President and CEO University of Montana Foundation
