National Geographic Channel to broadcast live from Yellowstone National Park in August

If you can’t make it to Yellowstone National Park this summer but would still like to visit, the National Geographic Channel can bring the park into your living room.

In another unique feat of live television, the channel will have real-time broadcasts from the park over the course of four days, beginning on Sunday, Aug. 5, at 7 p.m. local time.

"What better place than Yellowstone?" said Al Berman, executive producer of the broadcast, in a telephone interview.
