MONTANA MANUFACTURING EXTENSION CENTER – Growing Montana’s Economy by Helping Manufacturers Succeed

Did you know that World Trade Week was celebrated last week?

In Montana, the occasion was marked by the Montana Manufacturing Association’s (MMA) Manufacturing and International Trade Day event, held in Missoula. Awards for Manufacturer of the Year (congratulations Blackhawk!) and Exporter of the Year (congratulations SRS Crisafulli!) were presented during the luncheon, after which Addie Lordemann, Montana native (and MSU grad) and Senior Manufacturing Engineer for 3M, shared her inspirational story. Session panelists from around Montana and the U.S. provided important and timely information on topics such as trade policy, current trends in manufacturing, export finance and controls, manufacturing workforce, and others.

If you couldn’t make it this year, make note on your calendar and don’t miss this great event next May!
