Giant talent shortage to emerge by 2030
May 8, 2018 /
A massive talent shortage will hit in about a decade, leaving the world short of 85 million skilled workers and having a financial impact of as much as $8.5 trillion in unrealized annual revenue, according to a report by Korn Ferry, Man Bites Dog and Oxford Analytica. The report forecasts a labor deficit of 3% of the workforce in 2020 and 11% by 2030.
The ever-widening gap between employers’ needs and workers’ skills could drive massive lost financial opportunities over the next decade-plus.
