Montana Interactive is the eGovernment services provider for the State of Montana

Saving Montana over $16 million since 2001

We offer and support hundreds of eGovernment solutions in partnership with state, county and city entities that benefit the citizens and businesses of Montana and beyond. Montana Interactive provides services at no cost to our government partners through a unique funding model known as the Self-Funded Model.

The Self-Funded Model was developed by our parent company, NIC, and allows for the development and ongoing support of services at no cost through the collection of a nominal transaction fee on services already collecting payment. The transaction fee funds the state’s eGovernment enterprise and is used to develop and support eGovernment services.

Montana was the 13th state to partner with NIC. NIC has partnerships in over half of the states across the nation. Some of the service Montana Interactive has built in partnership with various government entities include Hunting and Fishing Licenses, Temporary Registration Permits, Unemployment Insurance Filing, and the Correctional Offender Network Search, to name a few.
