Waymo offers virtual reality glimpse at riding in driverless car

Waymo says its self-driving cars have now racked up 5 million miles on public roads.

To commemorate that milestone, Waymo, an offshoot of Google parent Alphabet, is releasing an immersive 360-degree video to let users experience the feeling of riding in a car with no driver as it navigates itself through city streets.
