Here is the GFDA Top 10 for this week, celebrating work and successes to grow and strengthen the Great Falls regional economy.

1) A comparative study of food processing industry operating costs ranked Great Falls as having the lowest costs of the 25 cities across the U.S. with significant concentrations of the food and beverage industry. GFDA commissioned the analysis to complement the food and agri-processing industry business cases we published last year in 8 targeted growth niches.

2) The new owners of The Quilt A Way in Great Falls received some nice media attention this week (see Tribune). Annemarie Neiffer and Patricia Sue Nelson recently closed on the business purchase. GFDA provided business planning, financial projection, and loan packaging assistance through our Small Business Development Center starting in 2016, and partnered with Stockman Bank on the financing.
