The Montana Carpenters’ Joint Apprenticeship Training Center Opens in Helena

The Montana Carpenters’ Joint Apprenticeship Training Center (JATC) opened its doors to the public on Thursday.

It was an opportunity for the carpenters’ union to show off the newly refurbished facility.

The training center hosts a four-year program to prepare young people to take on a variety of construction jobs.

A report from the Montana Department of Labor & Industry report says construction jobs in Montana are expected to grow by more than two and a half percent annually, adding more than 800 jobs every year.
