STEM inspires kids to learn
December 11, 2017 /
STEM Billings http://www.stembillings.org/ wants to inspire children to learn about subjects that will lead to an important career in a blossoming industry.
About 90 kids joined in to learn about coding at Ben Steele Middle School on Saturday.
STEM stands for Science, Technology. Engineering and Mathematics. The topic was writing code, which celebrates the worldwide "Hour of Code," which introduces students to computer science.
According to STEM Billings, there are about 500 job openings for writing code in Montana.
