NorthWestern Energy Hosts Butte Forum To Explore Electricity Supply Resources – 11/29

NorthWestern Energy will hold a forum Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017, at NorthWestern’s Butte General Office Building to discuss electricity supply resources that could help meet Montana customers’ needs.

The forum will be held in the first-floor auditorium at 11 E. Park St. from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

NorthWestern Energy is in the process of evaluating potential resources for its 2018 Montana Electricity Supply Resource Procurement Plan. Experts will make presentations covering all aspects of electric supply, from batteries, pumped storage, liquid air energy storage, geothermal, wind, solar, coal, natural gas and hydroelectric.

Speakers will also discuss demand response and energy efficiency.

There will also be opportunities for the public to ask questions and participate in the discussion.
