Montana Datacenter Facilities Site Opportunities Requests

We’ve http://business.mt.gov/ got several datacenter prospects who are interested in facilities meeting the following specifications. Would you please send us any sites you have meeting the specifications, including lease rates/term (or price if the building is for sale), photos if available, distance to the closest commercial airport, power availability and building size.

Please send any buildings that fit this description by the end of the day on Tuesday the 14th to Ken Fichtler

For lease or sale

Industrial/warehouse space (must be open, high ceilings, office space is not required)

Building must be at least 50,000 sq ft (more is better)

At least 15 mw of available power (more is better)

Fiber connectivity nearby

Also, we’re interested in sites for datacenters that would be newly constructed, meeting the specifications below. This is a longer term effort so we can wait until December 15th for your sites. Again, please include all the particulars of the sites, photos if available and distance to the nearest commercial airport.

At least 80 acres

Zoned to support commercial/industrial buildings at least 300,000 sq ft in size

At least 15mw of available power (renewables are strongly preferred)

Fiber connectivity nearby
