Oreo’s Refining Needs a Truck to Help Montana Recycle Its Electronic Waste

Since we launched Oreo’s Refining in May, all of our services have been free to the public. To continue to grow a healthy business, we find we need to charge for some of our services. Specifically, to handle the large amounts of electronic waste our customers want to dispose of responsibly, Oreo’s needs a truck. Our current vehicle cannot handle the load. We are asking for the community’s help.

As of Nov, 1, 2017, we will begin charging for certain items to be recycled, and we will no longer be able to offer a penny a pound for our customers’ e-waste.We will still hold to our commitment to giving a penny a pound to the local food bank following e-waste events. We will still offer free pick-up and free destruction of hard drives.

Our plan is to bring in revenue that can purchase a truck and to work toward making all of our services once again free to the public, moving back into our original business model. The fees will be significantly less than any of our competitors charge. If you feel that this service meets a great need in your community, please go now to Oreo’s Refinings’ GoFundMe page and donate https://www.gofundme.com/best-friend-to-the-planet Just as it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a community to raise a sustainable, service-oriented business.

We’re interested in talking with business or nonprofit leaders who wish to make substantial donations in exchange for advertising with their logos on our new truck. Please call us at 369-0005 or e-mail us at [email protected].

Thank you for your interest in and support of.
