Tech and computing contest open for Montana high school girls

For years, the National Center for Women and Information Technology (NCWIT) has given national awards to high school girls. The NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing is for young women with aspirations and achievements in technology and computing.

This will be the sixth year that there also is a state contest just for Montana girls. The application window is between Sept. 1 through Nov. 6, and you can find the application here https://www.aspirations.org/participate/high-school?mc_cid=4461b92633&mc_eid=cc38aee65e .

The contest is open to any interested female high school student. Past winners have included students from Absarokee, Anaconda, Arlee, Beaverhead County, Bozeman, Cascade, Cut Bank, Helena Capital, Helena High, Jefferson High, Libby, Missoula Big Sky, Missoula Hellgate, Missoula Sentinel, Noxon, Park County, Simms and Whitefish High School.
