Free Prep Classes for High School Equivalency Test begin Sept. 5

Free classes to help students prepare for the High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) begin September 5 at Flathead Valley Community College’s Kalispell and Libby campuses. Offered through FVCC’s Adult Education program, the classes are designed to help students improve their reading, writing, math, problem-solving and computer skills in preparation for obtaining a high school equivalency diploma, attending college or securing employment. Students must be at least 16 years old and not currently enrolled in school to participate in these classes.

In addition to HiSET preparation classes, FVCC offers free English Language Acquisition classes for non-native English speakers.

Both evening and daytime classes are offered, with start dates throughout the year. For more information, visit http://www.fvcc.edu/adult-education or contact Margaret Girkins at 406.756.3884 or 1.800.313.3822, ext. 3884.
