Key to values, key to our economy: Montana Governor Bullock moves forward with outdoor recreation office
July 26, 2017 /
The governor’s plan to create an Office of Outdoor Recreation is moving forward, and he traveled to Bozeman on Tuesday to ask industry representatives for input on what the office should help them with.
Gov. Steve Bullock told outdoor recreation business owners and executives at the Baxter Hotel that his office has begun looking for a person to head the office and that he hopes it will be up and running by September. He said the office is meant to help grow their industry and support outdoor recreation, which he views as important for multiple reasons.
