"Montana's economy has been built by business owners like the Blodgett's," Department of Commerce Director Pam Haxby-Cote said, "any time we can support the development or expansion of our Main Street businesses that create jobs and vibrant communities, we do."

Polson will soon have a new Main Street café thanks in-part to a $100,000 Montana Department of Commerce loan.

Blodgett Creamery, owned by Jeff and Debra Blodgett, will move into 325 Main Street, taking over a large corner lot building. The building will be rehabilitated into a destination café complete with coffee, tea and homemade food.

"Blodgett Creamery is excited to be part of the historic downtown Polson business revitalization," the Blodgett's said. "We will be offering a true Montana experience in food and coffee. As 6th generation Montanans, we are honored to be restoring one of Polson's original landmarks."
