Montana Legislature passes agritourism bill; signed into law

"Agritourism has the potential to help Montana’s farmers and ranchers add diversity to their operation and earn added revenue to support their farm or ranch," Christiaens said.

Branding is one ranch event where neighboring ranches get together and everyone helps separate the cow/calves and vaccinates and brands new calves. It is also a social event, one of the few times neighbors can get together, and they bring food and share with all.
