3 Missoula businesses, Silk Road, Fresh Market and Kayle, collaborate to offer local alternative to make-at-home meal services

Three Missoula businesses Silk Road http://www.silkroadcatering.com/spices , Fresh Market http://missoulafm.com/ and Kayle https://kayle.me/ are joining forces to help make your dinner better. One assembles the food, another sells it and the third spices it up. The rest is up to you, and it really is a piece of cake.

In this kitchen, chef Abraham Risho http://www.silkroadcatering.com/catering-home is cooking Chicken Tikka Masala from scratch, but you don’t have to be a trained chef to make it yourself. You don’t even have to know what ghee is to cook with it.

Kayle, the Missoula business known for its healthy breakfast and lunch delivery, is branching out into healthy dinner kits you can buy at the store then cook yourself at home.

"It takes the stress out of grocery shopping," said Kayle owner Harry Ward. "They’ve done studies that show that 30 percent of the groceries that people buy go to waste, and so this is an opportunity for people to use every ounce of what they buy and not have to think about the recipe."
