April 18, 2017View for printing

Governor Steve Bullock with the help of Sentinel High School sophomore Emma Blakely spoke to the importance of ending childhood hunger.

"If you don't have a good breakfast you're less likely to be able to pay attention, you're less likely to be achieving in school if we don't meet those basic needs of feeding kids," Bullock said. "This is an incredibly innovative effort and it's driven by students."

Fight Childhood Hunger Week aims to ensure every Montana child has a healthy breakfast each morning.
