It was great to learn more about the progress and plans ahead for MEP. I am also impressed with the leadership and Board structure as MEP has evolved since its 2011 inception. As an early (small) investor of Missoula Economic Partnership, Big Sky Commerce is thrilled to remain a supporter of its efforts. One of my recommendations presented to the MEP leadership is to consider diversifying its Board composition.

While the MEP Board of Directors is strong today with influential and esteemed leaders of mostly large organizations, I believe there is an opportunity to better represent us independent business owners. There are several hundred of us in the region, and we have a unique perspective on starting and building a business.

My input was well-received and I look forward to remaining engaged and supportive of MEP. I encourage other businesses in the Missoula area to support MEP in various ways.
