Education official touts pre-K program Montana Legislature considering

A top Alabama education official is helping Montana Gov. Steve Bullock promote his early childhood education proposal with stories of her state's successful program.
Jeana Ross, secretary of the Alabama Department of Early Education, came here at the invitation of Bullock to talk about how the program has worked in Alabama.
Bullock, a Democrat, said he talked about Montana's efforts to pass a similar program here several weeks ago with Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley, a Republican, at the National Governors Association.
