Montana Cities and Towns Population Estimates

2002 and 2001 Incorporated Cities & Towns Population Estimates released July 10, 2003

Thanks to Peggy Iba for passing this along-and her observations…

"Thought this website below might interest you. You can compare how the population has changed since 2000. As you know every county in eastern MT lost population from 1990 – 2000, some as much as 36% (Prairie) but Custer remained the same.

Now comparing the last two years, Roosevelt and Rosebud have gained slightly (up to 200 people). Custer lost 200 and most stayed about even or lost around a hundred people in the last two years. Just for comparison, Wibaux lost 20 people and Billings gained 2000 people.
