Big Sky Economic Development Trust Fund – Training helps local Bozeman, Montana businesses to grow while staying productive

Bringing more jobs to a growing Bozeman is about more than just money needed for salaries, but when asked what else local businesses needed to be successful, one answer stood out.

"The answer came back, from the group of people who are most knowledgeable is, ‘we need some training here, so that we’re not spending all of our money sending people out to get trained and they may or may not come back, or train someone in-house which takes someone else off of that widget to come train this person to do that’, so we need some kind of a training curriculum," said Britt Fontenot, City of Bozeman economic development director.
