Flathead Valley Community College marking 50 years

Flathead Valley Community College marks the start of a year-long celebration to commemorate its golden anniversary with a special kick-off event this week. As part of its 50th anniversary, the college has planned a year filled with events, as well as a commemorative publication.

"Thanks to a great community and some very visionary founders who sat around the kitchen table and came up with the idea for a community college here in Flathead County we put together a publication that commemorates all of the people who have given to the college and helped build it as well as all of the students and community members who have made this a wonderful place to be," FVCC President Jane Karas said.
