Veterans Invited to Participate in Entrepreneurship Training Program at UM

The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

Veterans of all eras, service members and their family members are invited to learn the skills to become a small-business owner through the Boots to Business Reboot program, which will come to the University of Montana on Friday, Jan. 20.

The free entrepreneurship training program was designed to give veterans, active-duty service members and their families an overview of business ownership as a career, an outline and knowledge of business plan components, a practical exercise in opportunity recognition and an introduction to available public and private sector resources.
