Montana Senator Jon Tester says he’ll run for re-election in ’18

"For me to step down at this point in time would not be fair to Montanans," Tester http://www.tester.senate.gov/ said. "I love this state. I love living in this state. Flying back and forth to Washington, D.C. is the worst part of this job. But, being able to make it so the next generation of Montanans have the kind of future that my folks have had and my grandparents worked for me, and the people of my generation is really important."

With the dust settling from the general election, speculation is already developing over who might grace Montana’s future ballots.

And at least one current officer holder says you can count him "in" for a re-election bid, with US Senator Jon Tester confirming he’s already planning his 2018 campaign.
