Montana gets $1.3M for apprentice program. Is your company a sponsor?

The state has received $1.3 million for Montana businesses to expand apprenticeship programs, create jobs for Montanans and grow its economy, Gov. Steve Bullock said Thursday.

Montana received the State Expansion Grant from the U.S. Department of Labor to expand the Montana Registered Apprenticeship program http://apprenticeship.mt.gov/ through the Montana Department of Labor & Industry. The funding will be used to increase apprenticeship opportunities in health care, advanced manufacturing, energy, information technology, finance and skilled trades, state officials said.

Montana now has more than 700 apprenticeship business sponsors in 60 occupations statewide.
