Approximately 24 African colleagues from higher education and governmental posts will be in Pullman 17 -19 November. The delegation representing nations of including Tanzania, South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Kenya, Uganda, Senegal, Ethiopia, Malawi, Rwanda and Nigeria are visiting WSU for collaborative development of the advanced NetTel@Africa e-learning curriculum on telecommunications regulation and public policy.(http://www.nettelafrica.org).

Beyond this specific interest, our visitors desire to meet with colleagues from the broader interest community and share perspectives on opportunities for global collaboration in higher education. Among disciplines represented on the African team are computer science, education, economics, business and others.

We are hopeful you can join the African delegation on 18 November from 2 to 4 p.m., in room T-101 of the Food Science and Human Nutrition building to take part in a discussion about opportunities for mutually beneficial collaboration. Individual meetings can also be arranged if desired while the group is here.

I would be appreciative if you would forward this note to others you believe may have interest as well.
