Sharing Economy Hits Home as Developers Ditch Parking Spaces

The rise of the sharing economy is one factor in the development of apartment buildings that don’t have parking spaces. People are still adapting to the change in deep-rooted habits to the way living spaces and communities are designed. "While there is a menu of options for residents–Uber, light rail, bicycle–people still endeavor to own a car to get to the mountains," Chris Waggett, chief executive of D4 Urban in Denver told the WSJ’s Esther Fung.
