Montana interim commission proposes increases to special education funding

Proposals to increase funding for special education in Montana schools are moving forward, but some legislators and advocates say they still fall short.
The 16-member School Funding Interim Commission – 12 legislators and four members of the public – met for the final time Monday, approving all nine bill drafts as well as the commission’s draft final report.
