Here is your opportunity to help bring better air service to Missoula International Airport

As you may have heard, the Missoula International Airport was recently awarded a federal air service grant http://t.sidekickopen06.com/e1t/c/5/f18dQhb0S7lC8dDMPbW2n0x6l2B9nMJW7t5XX45wfmJHW2zX3S-7dSBlKW64QWwH56dHHyf73Ls5v02?t=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.missoulacurrent.com%2Fbusiness%2F2016%2F07%2Famerican-airlines-may-offer-service-missoula-texas%2F&si=4953426783895552&pi=f02ff5de-6e8c-43d6-9f6c-8a3debcc650b due, in part, to the community stepping up to provide a fiscal match. The Air Service Task Force has been working on a revenue guarantee for the past year and a half to provide direct flights to major hubs across the U.S. and lower the cost of airfare in Missoula. The revenue guarantee, which will be funded annually, is a combination of federal grant dollars awarded and community contributions.

First, thank you to those businesses already providing incentive packages and to businesses contributing monetarily. Businesses that invest in the revenue guarantee receive an incentive in return based on their level of investment. The incentives are provided by organizations in our community in support of improved air service and the revenue guarantee.

Here is an infographic http://www.matr.net/files/PhaseIIISecuredIncentivePackageProviders08.2016Infographic.pdf illustrating the incentive packages and corresponding investment levels. The community has been so responsive and supportive of the revenue guarantee program that we are looking for additional incentive packages in all three tier levels to meet the demand of those investing financially.

If you would like cheaper flights and increased flight availability year-round to major hubs, both domestically and internationally, now is your chance to invest in this initiative.

As you will see in the infographic, available incentives include golfing, skiing, distillery, rafting, resort, website/app design, brewery, winery, photography/video, and fly fishing packages. Companies contributing incentives range from small start-ups to established luxury resorts. Businesses who invest in the revenue financially receive one of these packages as their incentive.

For example: A business that contributes $6,500 towards the revenue guarantee chooses from a company video made by Ndigena, MCAT, or Montana Sight and Sound, a company retreat at the Montana Winery for up to 50 with wine and food, or a two-night all-inclusive stay for two lucky members of that organization at the Ranch at Rock Creek. A business that contributes $1,500 a year can choose from a rafting trip for up to 12 people, a tasting and mixology class for up to 12 at a local distillery, or a golf package.

If you have a service or product worth $1,500 or more that you would like to contribute, please contact Paige Pavalone at [email protected] or (570) 242-0081 as soon as possible. In exchange for providing an incentive package, your business will be marketed on missoulaair.com, our soon-to-be-live website which will make investing in the revenue guarantee a snap.

Join the effort to bring improved air service to Missoula today!
