Please help us find writing coaches for Missoula’s (and Stevensville’s) future leaders

We need more coaches for our programs in public schools throughout Missoula County and for our new program in Stevensville! http://www.writingcoachesofmissoula.com (See below.)

While we will run recruiting ads in newspapers and on MTPR, we need your help with the following:

Staff our coach recruitment/information table at the Clark Fork Farmer’s Market, Saturdays, Sept. 3rd & 10th, 9am-noon(1 or 2-hr. shifts). Nothing like experienced coaches to sell our program!

Ask your relatives, friends, and acquaintances to consider becoming writing coaches. Fall trainings are scheduled for Monday, Sept. 12th & Wednesday, Sept. 21st (evenings). You are also welcome to attend to lend your voice of experience and refresh your skills. For more information or to register, email me at [email protected]

WCM has just received a two-year grant from the Steele-Reese Foundation to initiate writing coach programs in Ravalli County. Our fledgling effort will begin this fall in the Stevensville Public Schools. If you know anyone in the Bitterroot Valley who might be interested in becoming a writing coach, please ask them to contact me by email ([email protected]) or by phone (546-6269). New volunteers can attend one of the Missoula trainings in September, or a training planned for Stevensville late this fall, date tba.
