Code Camp: Bitterroot youth learn computer programming skills

Confidence in their ability to write code has been the outcome at the computer coding camp taught by CodeChangers, a Utah based company started by Hamilton High alum Jason Schallenberger.
The camp of 23 students, five of them girls, learned computer programming, web development, pixel art, micro controllers and circuit soldering at the four-day camp at Bitterroot College this past week.
Instructor Heather Schallenberger said it is important for students to learn code.
