Q: Hello, Mr. Strauss, I am a recent college graduate and everyone seems to think that, while school was a good idea, majoring in English was a big mistake. I loved it, however, although it does seem as if my job prospects are not as good as the STEM majors. My question for you therefore is this: will employers give me a second look? – Merida

A: I agree, everyone does seem to love the STEM majors these days (science, technology, engineering and math).

Everyone, it seems, but me.

I love English majors.
