Top Montana health insurers losing money – and paying big bonuses to executives

The three health insurers selling subsidized policies on Montana’s Internet "marketplace" have been losing money the past two years – but that hasn’t stopped them from paying substantial bonuses to top executives.
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana https://www.bcbsmt.com/ President Mike Frank got a $639,000 bonus in 2015, on top of his $501,000 salary, for total compensation of nearly $1.15 million.
