Montana teen wins national Microsoft competition

The Microsoft Office Suite is a big part of any business. Now, a Montana teen is proving to be the best of the best at one of the Microsoft applications millions of Americans use on a daily basis.

Nick O’Donnell is heading to MSU this fall. The Belgrade High graduate likely will get plenty of requests from his fellow students to review their papers written on Microsoft Word. O’Donnell beat out more than 300,000 students and earned Microsoft Word certification earlier this week during a nationwide competition held in Orlando.

"When my name was called, my mom screamed beyond loud and everyone I am pretty sure heard it and I am kind of in shock, but walked up and got everything," O’Donnell said.
