The last word from Montana’s Jim Harrison

Iconic Livingston author Jim Harrison sent one last book into the world before his death.

In "The Ancient Minstrel," published this spring, Harrison wrote that his family "insisted on being left out" of a memoir, which was part of the reason the memoir he’d planned became a novella.

"At this late date I couldn’t bear to lapse into any delusions of reality in nonfiction," he wrote.
