As it stands, new Bozeman budget increases taxes

With the next fiscal year less than two weeks away, Bozeman city leaders are trying to finalize the budget. As it stands now, property owners are looking at an increase in annual taxes.

At first, the city manager’s recommended budget called for a six percent net increase in annual taxes for a typical resident. That adds up to about $125.
