Greg Gianforte, RightNow Technologies (Bozeman) named Regional Entrepreneur of the Year in Software by Ernst & Young

Ernst & Young named its regional entrepreneurs of the year recently. A panel of judges evaluated the candidates in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

software, Greg Gianforte, RightNow Technologies;

food and beverage, John Hanna, YoCream International;

technology, Bruce Davis, Digimarc;

life science, Bruce Carter, ZymoGenetics;

retail and consumer products, Jordan Weisman, WizKids;

manufacturing, Jim Kelly, Rejuvenation;

consumer and business services, Richard Corbett and Michael Weaver, Applied Discovery;

and education-nonprofit, Doug Wheeler, Zion Preparatory Academy.

The national award winners will be announced in November.
