University of Montana: Concerns over budget cuts to Humanities unfounded

University of Montana administrators say concerns over an increase in budget cuts targeting the humanities are unfounded as they match targets originally announced last November.

Administrators say confusion over the amount to be cut may stem from the different budgets for 2016 and 2017. Cuts to the 2016 Fiscal Year budget were made mid-year as a one-time cut while 2017’s budget was made with the cuts already in mind.
